First post-pandemic street festival

The big day arrived, the threat of rain didn't immediately materialize until late afternoon, unlike the original weather forecast... This was a big step in the sense of recovery from pandemic...

I ended up spending nine hours there, basically the entire festival, and many photos later (a mere 580 of them )

By 6 PM as the last band played in the rain I was running on adrenaline... I did take a few breaks throughout the day... I saw it as a very symbolic day and spirits were high, even when the rain hit...

I know most of you would have run and hid from a street festival, but I love the energy of them and really missed them over the last two years

Oh, that’s lovely! I’m glad you got to enjoy it, and take many pictures. I’m really looking forward to visiting street festivals again too.

Great that you were able to go and to take all of those great pictures. With what camera are you shooting?

Beautiful pictures :)
I wouldn’t run and hide from something like that either. I used to go to nightclubs and concerts all the time lol.
