Wasn't sure how to name that. My primary interest is love, or generally liking someone, jealousy and envy. When you're a little kid did you identify those emotions? I might have identified envy but others... Not sure. It almost felt like I could feel those but I probably did I just couldn't identify them until maybe... 9-10. And even then it was confusing. What about you guys? Even if you didn't identify them, did you feel them towards your family members, friends, maybe even pets?

Hard to say with this one. I guess my initial emotions were the strong, primal ones. "Fear" would probably be the biggest emotion for me, but I think that was more from a bad childhood than anything else.

I thought love was an activity, not a feeling.
It's possible to feel the effects of love.
It's possible to feel the effects of lack of love.

I have to provide my own definition/understanding of the term, 'love,' because one was not given.
Love: providing care (support, encouragement, safety, well being) toward another being.

What I don't think love is: "a strong feeling of wanting to be with someone" That's what a teenager told me once.
Also I don't think it is a yearning/craving or preference: "I love ice cream." An adult with an IQ of 43 told me that.

I have loved living beings. I have thrived because living beings loved me.
I recognize those experiences.

Envy? No. Envy to me means "I want exactly what they have", and I do not because it has THEIR germs all over it. Desire, possibly. Very possible. I don't remember ever NOT having a crush on some guy or another. My mom says when I was 3 or 4, I was very upset in church because my first fascination was there too and I couldn't understand why we couldn't get married since we were already at a church. I don't have many memories of jealousy or possessiveness towards people, although I was highly territorial over my favorite cartoon characters.
