Hello everyone,
I own an HP laptop that runs on Windows 8.1. I installed Chrome, Firefox and Explorer, but I mainly use Firefox whenever I want to browse the internet. On my previous laptop, which ran on Windows 7, that never gave me issues. But for the first time ever I experienced YouTube not working properly on Firefox.
When I click a video, the video plays for an X amount of seconds. Then I am being redirected to the next video in that playlist, or a video in the "suggestions" list at the right of the screen. This doesn't always happen, but it happens often enough for me to be very annoyed about it. Does anyone know what this problem is and how to fix it?
PS: if you Google this, you find information about this "redirecting virus", which is not what is causing my issues with Firefox. The redirecting virus redirects you to websites whenever you click in your Firefox browser. So that is not the cause of this issue.
...To be honest, I don't think it's a virus at all since I had this laptop for about 3 days, and I haven't done anything weird with it.
