Finding / seeing faces in things?

I do this often. Once I actually started seeing letters form in the fibers of a carpet and I kept trying to read what it was saying. I ended up freaking out a lot of people because I kept staring at the carpet for two hours straight. This is what happens when I get bored and have absolutely nothing to entertain myself with.

I do this sometimes. The first time I can recall doing this was when I was about 3 years old. It mostly happens with tesselated patterns, I start making patterns out of the patterns. I also get a weird sensation at the back of my head that I can't begin to describe. I've often wondered if anyone else experiences this? 🤔
