Favourite Metallica song

My favourite Metallica song. Groovy blues tinged, hard rock verse, melodic chorus (a bit emo, sign of the times lol), interesting arrangement, cool Kirk lead (as much as Lars allowed), proto trash can snare, badass high budget MTV rockstar video Don't know why Metallica are embarrassed about it, they never play it. Maybe they think it's a sellout, don't want the Chads and Stacey's at the shows or its not techy enough. Last song I loved before they lost Jason Newsted and last vestiges of charm. I'd have loved a whole album of this formula. But resentment consumed them and they crapped out St Anger.

It was the first one I listened to and so I'm admittedly a bit biased towards that one.
