Probably a niche genre of interest.

This is a cover of Metamorphosis II, by Phillip Glass, played on harp by Lavinia Meijer:

 
A favorite of mine by Nanci Griffith . . . . Wall of Death . . . . I loved that ride. And, I really like the guitar work.

Another of hers from the same album. I think she gives new life to Stephen Foster. Sometimes I'd get on my banjo and play along.
 
Then, thinking of modern versions of old songs, here is one from 1828, from Northern Scotland, "The Twa Magicians." At a time when I was existentially lonely I was entranced by this song.
