Eye Care

Yes, but the thought about surgery is so creepy.. so I just wrote will be gone soon. Take care.

Ha! That is over with in 20 minutes. I am discussing spinal surgery ....which is terrorizing, and might not work. It also means I am completely out of work and everything else for 2 whole months! That is terrifying as I do not have any of that type of insurance to pay the bills.

And I am scheduled for a colonoscopy next month. That is just as terrifying. Cataract surgery seems easy least from what everyone tells me.

Any type of surgery scares me, even a blood test makes me pale and dizzy. My husband laughs at me all the time, he wants to take a video, but he knows I would hate him forever. I can’t control not feeling dizzy it feels like I’m going to pass out.

I’m not familiar with your healthcare system, I hope everything goes smoothly. You are brave and I admire you for that.

Some people who draw blood will let a person
lie down on the examining table for the draw.

It saves them and the patient a worry of falling
out of a chair to the floor, at least.

I remember when an older doctor looked at me
and decided that would be a good idea, based
on my size. He wasn't taking any chances. :)
