Excuses people make that you hate and/or get annoyed by...

When we were younger my brother would eat an apple while watching TV and not bother getting up to put the core into the garbage can when he was done. Instead he's say, "Here, I got a present for ya." and give it to me. I hated him treating me like his personal servant (which he naturally only did when are parents were out somewhere), but I didn't want gross rotting apple cores all over the living room, so I'd toss them into the trash. Seriously, I should have just let him leave apple cores and banana peels and food wrappers all over the coffee table so mom would growl at him about it the next day.

He'd have probably just blamed you and, because there's no-one else to clarify your version of events, you'd both get it in the neck.
 
You know what I think is the worst excuse ever? "I was drunk."
Alcohol does not in any way justify someone's abusive, illegal, or just plain disgusting behavior.
"I am/was just having a bad day." Is the second worst excuse, which again does not justify the above behavior. And often the person was drinking because they were "having a bad day".
