Dream destinations

Mongolia! I'd live in a yurt and hang out with reindeer herders.

And you can sing along with the Mongolian national anthem! (Well, it should be.)

Oddly enough, I sort of wanted to go to Sweden after watching The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo on Netflix Instant a few of weeks ago, which isn't the reaction that one would probably expect (Of course, I'm told that, in reality, the Scandinavian countries probably have more crime novelists per capita than actual murders). I'd also really like to go to Australia (I think my late paternal grandfather spent a little time there while he was in the navy during WWII) and New Zealand some day (especially the latter). I think Canada and the UK (maybe not in that order) are probably my first two stops once I get to the point where I can start doing some international travel (I haven't really done any aside from a couple of brief trips into Mexico, which I find kind of embarrassing).

My dream destination is the town north of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It has the world's best hockey team (no offense to Maple Leafs or Canucks or Canadiens fanatics), the world's best basketball team, the world's best baseball team and the world's most loyal gridiron football fan base.

It's simply Detroit, Detroit Metal City. Lol

Where dreams are made, broken and then re-made again.

Will also visit Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada too in a stretch. In short, almost all of the '1st Anglophone' world. Whatever it's called!

India, Japan, Singapore (where Ruennsheng is from), Brazil, Italy, France, Germany, Netherlands, Scandanavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland), Russia . . . many others as well.

Yup - I ain't fussy when it comes to this. I'd pretty much go to any non-dangerous country.

Thank you! I'll do my best to visit your town in Canada whenever I have the time and cash. :)

And I'll bring you anywhere you want to go - if you want to come here. maybe except the casinos. Lol

One more destination to my list: Norway.

The very thought of Norway and UK, the destinations I wanted to go summer school this year, now made me slightly regret not considering them

Mars, I've always wanted to go to Mars. The planet, that is, not the town.

As that's unlikely to happen this time around I'll settle for Norway, it's a bit like Mars, or was I thinking of Nevada ;)

Colorado is quite reddish, too.

I'd like to backpack Europe. Only I'm slightly terrified by the idea... I'm not really sure what backpacking Europe entails if one travels alone but traveling alone certainly comes with risks anywhere right?
