Does anyone practice reiki or have you received reiki treatments?

I just got my level one certification in Thailand and I'm eager to practice on myself and others as well as to find a way to keep studying in my home country.

I feel like my hyper sensitivities lend themselves well to reiki and I've had strange experiences healing animals before. I was wondering if anyone has any experience giving or receiving reiki. What do you think about it?
