I usually only have red apples but my mom bought red and green apples and I had both. The green apples were sweeter and had much more taste so I prefer them.

I don't eat apples anymore (not a fruit or veg person) but when I did, it was always the red variety.

I like just about all apples except for deep red ones like Red Delicious and Roma. The red ones often have a texture I don't like and also a flavor I'm not that fond of. Green apples are among my favorites (along with Fiji). I eat an apple nearly every day for lunch.

I never liked apples—something about the texture of it. And most of the time, the ones I did try to eat were dry. And red.

I will eat both, but prefer green...I find the green ones stay fresh longer, and red ones get a odd powdery texture if they are not really fresh (in about a couple of days). That said, as long as they are fresh I like both.

I couldn't possibly choose between red and green, I'm really not fussy when it comes to apples (unless they're mouldy or rotting, of course).
So I'll toss a coin.
Heads - Red
Tails - Green
Here goes...
It's heads. I guess I'll vote for red then.

Green apples are also, in my opinion, the best for pies, because their somewhat sour taste goes well with all of the sugar in the pie.

As you have made me aware of, I gave the wrong name for Fuji apples.:lol2:

:D ...I thought at first you might have meant Fuji apples, but then I maybe though there was another type of apple out there that I didn't know about. :P Those apples are really good though, aren't they? I remember my Dad used to buy them all the time when I used to live with my parents. I still get them from time to time now too.

I'm colour blind. So I can only say...

What is this... "red"... colour you speak of? I only know of "green" and "green" apples :P

So my vote goes for green!
