do you know anyone diagnosed with "classic autism" and you do see them as "diseased" or not?

No, I do not see autistic people as diseased. I see them the same way as I see myself, a person with a neurological disorder.

I have met someone with severe autism, and no, autism isn't a disease, it's a neurological disorder. There's a big difference!

My younger son and I believe he's very intelligent. (I'm not going to discuss the subject of intelligence here again, I've done it so many times, I'm sick of it :D ) Unfortunately because if his Apraxia, sequencing and memory issues it's not easy to bring his intelligence up on the surface. One thing about him - he's the most optimistic, cheerfull and energetic person I've ever met. I hope he never loses this side of him. I don't think there's a lot of kids at his school who doesn't know who he is, he's definitely standing out from the crowd, just like his mom [emoji14] and yes, I have seen many people with so-called severe Autism. Let me see if I can find some blurry picture of him :) it's from the last year... I think :)
