Do people ever do things which seem totally random to you?

So I got my Wii U working and I discover that YouTube is free with it... So I download it and listen to some Birthday Massacre.. Then my staff ask if she can show me something and I say yes.. Next second we are watching a doctor extract a giant zit... I didn't want to watch that and frankly I don't know what made her thing I did? Is this a young women thing or a NT women thing cause this isn't the first time?

Maybe she has a zit fetish? I get it when people tell me they want to solve a problem, and do nothing to solve it but just walk around and move stuff and make tea.

That is odd. But I find that many people in an office environment spend a lot of time looking at strange things online. If she is young and has had skin issues, maybe it is of interest to her and she thinks it is a way to connect with others since this is a common problem. But I think it is acceptable for you to relate that you don't wish to observe medical procedures online--or, that you prefer to decide in advance whether a video is worth your time.

I am perhaps guilty of the latter. Because making tea and organizing things occupies my hands, in a way that frees my head to think. Especially useful if the problem to be solved is not something I can work on materially.

A bit like Sherlock Holmes spending all night on chemical experiments while trying to solve other mysteries...

People have all sorts of hang ups and fetishes. I have seen, might even know some pretty wild ones.

A guy that crosses his toes on stage - the whole time he's up there.
A lady that collects hair from dressing room combs and brushes for sexual reasons.
A guy that got turned on by popping zits - Yep that video would be for him.
A guy that stopped the tour bus in the middle of the freeway for half an hour because it was the most random thing he could think to do. (Okay we were playing a game of trying to out random each other when he did that so, not really so random.)

First that's not appropriate at work, second that's disgusting. This might be for two reasons however, either she thinks showing people gross stuff is funny, or it's like so weird to her she can't help but show others. I would say in the future be sure to tell her you don't care for it and it's not appropriate for work time.
