Do ordinary things ever amaze, humor or baffle you?

Bark on trees in the woods makes me stop.
Then I have to look around because whoever I am walking with, isn't with me anymore,
and I am still standing looking at the tree.

I started tying red yard on the trees out back last year
so that maybe sometime I will be able to walk in the woods
by myself.

People's use of language makes me laugh. Like when people say, 'So she turned around and said this and I turned around and said that' and you can picture two people spinning around in circles trying to talk to each other.

I knew a blind guy that used to say later I'm going to watch the tv, not sure if he was being sarcastic are not but he sure as hell wasn't watching anything. Good ears though maybe listening for him had double meaning.
