So, finally - after a lifetime (33 years) of wondering, I have finally realized that the word 'complimentary' means in terms of a hotel stay, or a meal at a restaurant etc.
 
I don't mean to be un-complimentary, but I don't understand how the OP is
  1. about a "Coming of Age," and/or
  2. an Autism Science discussion...

It was just supposed to be light-hearted, you’re right, it’s not scientific at all!
