Are there any books that are offered to Aspies as coaching guides in social skills?

We took our kiddos out for dinner tonight and ran into not one but TWO families we know. One of the families it was fine but the other, things were super awkward. I hadn't seen them in a long time, I think she doesn't like me much because I've bailed on plans with her often in the past, including her baby shower, so I'm pretty sure she thinks I dislike her. (She *can* be a bit much, but I don't dislike her)

Anyway. We got into the car afterwards and I was exhausted from coming up with stuff to say and then analyzing if I said the right things.

Is there a book? I need a system.
