Better Late Than Never

Hi,

I just realised that I have been visiting this site now for about four months (I think), and I haven't yet introduced myself. Well...

The username I use here (i.e. Bellatrix) I chose because of ease of recall, convenience, and simplicity. Bellatrix is a blue giant star in the constellation of Orion (20 times the size of our own sun, apparently), and one of my many, many, many interests happens to be astronomy, although I spend far more time reading about it than actually looking at the night sky.

One could also say that I am an exile from another well-known autism website (I won't embarrass them by naming them), where the commenters are kind of out of control. They get into real arguments over there, usually about politics (yawn). I don't like politics, and yet people get really emotional about it. I'm glad there is no section here that covers that particular topic, because it would just cause trouble.

Anyway, this is the best site for those 'on the spectrum' that I have come across thus far, so... it looks like you're stuck with me!

I also had a rather bad experience on another asper site which has unsuitable moderation and unchecked abusive clique members.
This site here is a friendly community and has generally been excellent at ending inappropriate situations.
