Aversion to Whispering?

I don't know why, but I have always HATED the sound of whispering. I'm not saying I enjoy it when people scream their heads off at sporting events, concerts, or people who apparently were never taught the concept of an "indoor voice" like Alex Jones, but I can't stand whispering. I was watching one of those ASMR videos because I wanted to see what all the hubabaloo was about but I could only watch for a few seconds because of the constant shushing and "isp, isp, isp" sounds. Anyway, I've just always hated the sound of whispering. It's painful.

Well , i am a big fan of asmr ! Not all of them to be fair, i find some voices or some noises irritating, even a video i liked can sometime piss me off..depends on the context i guess.

But, since i was a kid, i have a weird fetish for eating sounds, and even now i think, but hen i was a kid or teenager i loved listening to people chewing à chewing gum, i dont like when its a gross eating sound thought, just a simple one not exagerated...

Same for whispering, i dont know but i love it, its calming me, i listen to a lot of whispering videos to sleep, and i used one video in particular in loop to get my last semester, it was the only thing able to settle me down and help me focus.

It calms me and when i go to sleep with an asmr video I have this tingling sensation a lot, but i think i am getting a bit used to it now its less effective.

I usually hear that at a low volume , maybe you should try.

Voices is a big deal for me anyway.
