Author, Richard Laymon

Stephen King and Thomas Harris have always been my go-to horror/thriller/supernatural authors.

But my friend mentioned Richard Laymon and thinks he is just as good if not better than King, and thinks I would love his work.

I've never read anything by him before. Anyone read any of his stuff? Interested to see some other viewpoints :)

I've read a lot of Richard Laymon's books. Personally I think he is better than Stephen King. He's my go to for horror books. His books tend to be gory and graphic though.

Since I wrote this post I have read Body Rides and Funland... Both of which were amazing, but still believe King is better... as I read more Laymon books that opinion may change, we will see!
