At the ER now.

I always feel a bit sheepish going to the ER and I know exactly where that comes from. It comes from my mother yelling at me when I was at the ER in the past, shouting at me telling me there is no way a doctor would send me there when I am vomiting up what looks like coffee grounds because I am literally not dying.

I need to shut up that internal voice.

hope you'll feel better soon, and that it will be okay for your boss that you had an emergency, i remember you wrote recently that you didnt want to go to the doctor because of that

I contacted my gen practitioner this morning. She called me back when I was at work. When she told me to go to the ER, she agreed to talk to my boss.

Dude, had about close to the same experience when I mentioned my dental stuff back in January / February. The antibiotics definitely helped, and I had to stop eating anything sugary, as well. Sugar felt like alcohol in a papercut to it all. I got a mouthguard (like the simple ones from a sporting goods store) to help further because I was sleeping stressed as a mofo, so I was clinching and grinding on that side. It might help you to do the same.

Mommy downer ruminating thoughts during your time in pain, like that's a trigger connection, l guess like a trauma bond? Maybe don't go to those thoughts? Hey, let us know how the dental appointment goes. I just rescheduled a dentist appointment, to much anxiety.

I hope this works out for you. Infection in the jaw can be awful, I experienced a somewhat similar situation about 7 years ago and could not eat food for close to 6 months. Hopefully the infection does not require the installation of a cadaver bone to replace bones damaged by infection. It was a terrible way to lose 50 pounds of body mass.
