Aspies: What Upsets You?

Somebody putting their !@#$ finger in the way when they want me to read something or won't keep their !@#$%#@#$ mouth shut when they want me to read something.
 
Being told that my cell phone transfer that would take 4 hours at most has been held up for 8 days because the databases don't agree about my zip code; when I read the zip code off the USPS confirmation, she said, "I don't care what the Post Office said. The only thing that matters is what's in my database."
 
Here's and other one.

When plastic straws rub against the inside rim of their plastic lid. The sound, and the tactile sensation drive me nuts. I take off the lids just to avoid this.
 
Moving my things gets to me. I remember what they are by their locations. If they get moved, it causes problems.

Animated user interfaces drive me crazy. E.g., Flipboard, Google Plus, pop-up ads.

Bad user interface design causes me an unreasonable amount of stress...
 
Too much noise

Anything tech related that isn't user friendly

Cats that aren't friendly

Work

Long waits for shipping on online purchases

Shopping malls

People who can't listen when corrected on things they know nothing about

People throwing out my stuff, or thinking my stuff has no value
 
I hate the sound of high heels. The "clack, clack ,clack" noise always puts me on edge. The smell of certain things, like perfume. Perfume smell is enough to give me a headache.
 
Social dishonesty and insincerity, for the simple reason that I struggle to differentiate when people are just "being nice" and actually want a friendship (or relationship)

Some may not regard "being nice" as social dishonesty, but I do. Here's why.
When people feign interest in something or act in an insincerely happy or interested way during a conversation, they are being dishonest: They are trying to convince the person they are conversing with that they are interested in or wish to continue the conversation. They furthermore could be leading that person to believe that not only are they interested in the conversation, but potential friendship (or relationship). They may send subtle social cues of their true intent, but it is very difficult for us Aspies to pick up on those (at least it is for me). All we see is a person who seems interested in us, in one way or another, and we respond in kind.

The Aspie is then devastated (or at least disappointed), to find out later that the person was not interested in them.

This sort of social behavior drives me absolutely insane. Fooling someone into thinking that you are interested in their friendship, whether that is the intention or not, is a cruel, unfair, and irrational thing to do. If you aren't interested in conversing with someone, make up an excuse and leave! Be blunt already!

Maybe this isn't as common for others as it is for me but it drives me nuts nonetheless.
 
Books and documentaries about autism/aspergers and how narrowly they represent us, it's either:

"My demon autistic child can't look me in the eye and won't stop screaming in the supermarket and it's ruining my life! I need an old priest and a young priest, The Power Of Christ Compels You!!!"

"Johnny is 35 and still lives with his parents, he is obsessed with Mickey Mouse and has limited vocabulary, but he is also a mathematical genius. This is the heartbreaking and inspirational story of his life"

"I have spent years trying to unlock the puzzle of the autistic mind, after studying these creatures in captivity for some time I have made a series of broad generalisations about a large section of the world's population based on a handful of individuals that is more harmful than helpful"

As an adult, most people don't realise I'm on the spectrum unless I tell them but when I was a kid it was a lot more obvious and i felt like most people didn't see me as a human being, they treated me like an animal or a thing.

When a whole group of people is judged for something that is everyone's individual decision. An example of this is when a teacher gets mad at a whole class when only some people are misbehaving. This is enough to make me have a meltdown.

This is a big problem on a very large scale. To form an opinion on any category of people, based on the actions of a few, is not a logical conclusion. Some (but not all) examples are the police or certain religions. It is scary how unfair people can be.

I have had this happen as well. It is maddening.
 
Too many people in crowded places, I get nervous and I get intrusive thoughts that I'm going to break down and won't be able to breathe.

Sunlight, it's too bright and it's downright dangerous when I'm on my motorbike and it's shinning straight at me even on overcast days sunlight can be too bright.

I don't like driving places, I keep thinking something bad is going to happen and people behind me make me nervous.

Clothes tags. This is like a strange phobia. I've never had to cut them out of clothes but I avoid touching them if I can, it's like garlic to a vampire.

Where I'm at in my life compared to my peers or my brothers and sister when they were my age, it gets me depressed that I don't have that same ability to get on with my life and go places. I have to remind myself though that they're not me and they don't face the same problems I do and try my hardest to give myself praise on how far I've come since my lowest points with severe depression and possible psychosis and suicidal ideation.

And my future. I can't predict where I'm going in my life and every step is new and this scares me.

I also can't stand certain sounds such as plastic foil wrappers, it goes straight through my head and lingers there and I can't think straight for a while afterwards. It's painful.
 
Loud noises make me cover my ears and scream like daredevil. How can people drive with their stereos so !$&@ing loud. "Hey $@@hole, just cuz you like you're music doesn't mean everyone else likes it!!"
 
A lot of things but, the two biggest annoyance that anger me are:

1. Mic feedback - that squeal is physically painful to me, happens at every set up but it still hurts.

2. Know it all people who always have a better way to do whatever you ask them to do and, insist on arguing their way vs. what you told them to do. I usually tell them "It's my stuff, my property, and the end result will be mine so, shut up and do what I told you to do how I told you to do it because I really don't care what you think, I hired you to do a job, not to give me your opinions and ideas."
