Is it harder for an aspie to find a boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse? Are there any gender differences? Unable to find much information about the topic, I create this poll. If you are single just because you don't want any relationships, please select "I am single by choice".

The poll is only for those aged 25 and older. For young people, things change easily.

I am a self-diagnosed aspie myself, not a psychologist.

Im single by choice, so many of my ex-girlfriends wanted me for my money, course i was giving it to them and tried my hardest to make them happy. I loved each of them to the max and always forgave them for cheating or when they got angry with me. I didn't understand what i done wrong but i was left with nothing many time. I just gave up on myself in the end with no care what i done to myself after the split up with me. I was in bad shape and just lost hope that i would find someone who actually cares or is interested in me. I use to make shore i looked my best but now i just don't care. Im happy to live my life alone away from the risks of being used. It took me a while to realise that i was being used and was believing they actually loved me, i just look back and think i should of stayed on my own from the start to Finnish.

I never really had issues in finding a girlfriend. For a large part in my 20's I was with a single partner; when that ended in my late 20's, I had a few, as well as a few potential partners with whom I got along well (until a certain point).

Though I might not suffer from that much social anxiety, I'm at times a bit extroverted and I seem to end up with (possible) aspies quite often (including my current girlfriend).
