If I may offer a thought Shevek,? have you considered being able to have a Post ibstalled in your upper or lower jaw. as a second mounting point in your mouth? possibly.
Much advertisement down here in the lower 48 , about having entire set of teeth based on these type of posts.. Basically , I think under anethesia, they prep the jaw area and screw in a post into the jawbone. Provider the bone has integrity . You prolly have already looked into this ,but just thought to offer the thought .Please excuse if the information is unwanted .
My husband is in the process of having an implant installed for one of his molars that cracked. It takes about 6-9 months to do the entire procedure. First the tooth has to be pulled, stitches may or may not be required (he needed them), stitches have to be removed after the gum has healed, then a post is installed into the jawbone, and then the fake tooth is attached to the post. Of all the options available, the implant is the best way for him to go.
Fortunately, our dental insurance covers most of the cost because it is not cheap. But Canada has free medical and dental insurance, right?
