Anyone else walk on their toes?

I heard it's called toe-walking. I always noticed myself do it, but only if I'm barefoot. My family doesn't think anything strange of it because they assume it's because I don't want to touch the dirty floors. It's a half-truth, in reality, it just feels really cool. I feel more agile, and I'm able to balance myself really well. Though, I've heard of some scary stories of your tendons shrinking or something like that. When both my heel and forefoot on the floor, I feel heavy. Anyone else do this?

Toe Walking and ASD

I did when I was a kid. It can really mess your feet up over time though

I do it, but not all the time. One example is, I start walking on my toes if I need to lift and move something heavy at work that is a two man job. I seems counter productive, but it happens naturally.
I rarely do it when I`m relaxed.
But looking at how my shoes seem to wear down way quicker than with other people, and always very heavily at the front of my foot, I would not be surprised if I still do it a little, but it is hardly noticeable.

I have accidentally walked on my left toes with my right foot. Dyspraxia sucks.

I mostly did, especially as a child. I've noticed that for boys, people think it's weird, but for me (a female) people said I was trying to look like a ballarina so it was never treated as a negative.

I was told it wasn't normal, but that's about as negative as that got.
