Anyone else walk on their toes?

I heard it's called toe-walking. I always noticed myself do it, but only if I'm barefoot. My family doesn't think anything strange of it because they assume it's because I don't want to touch the dirty floors. It's a half-truth, in reality, it just feels really cool. I feel more agile, and I'm able to balance myself really well. Though, I've heard of some scary stories of your tendons shrinking or something like that. When both my heel and forefoot on the floor, I feel heavy. Anyone else do this?
