Any TECH. themed (sleep) dreams?

A few years ago, I had a most interesting TECH. related dream - that is, a dream involving fictional advanced 3-D manufacturing TECH.

I had a visibly damaged desktop computer tower unit on a cart, a unit whose damage also included loss of content on the computer's hard-drive files. I was hauling this computer tower unit into what looked like a university lab. I had reached a lab that was developing new 3-D TECH.

I had proceeded to an elaborate-looking 3-D TECH. device, and placed this damaged computer into this device. The device was turned-on, and the damaged computer unit was moving along a conveyor-belt, and into an enclosed machine - during which I heard sounds which sounded like a computer being pulled apart.

It turned out that this device took a rather novel deconstructive (as opposed to a destructive) process in handling damaged computers - as I'd discover a few minutes later. A few minutes later, a new-looking repaired computer (exact copy of the old-computer) emerged out of this device via a conveyor belt.

The staff at this 3-D TECH lab confidently advised me (to my wise reluctance) to plug-in, and switch-on this computer. To my astonishment, this newly deconstructed/constructed computer was operable, or fixed (however you want to look at the process that just happened) - with the (previously considered lost, and thought gone forever) computer files reclaimed, and fully intact. I had proceeded to haul this computer out of this lab, and back to my primary workspace.

I must say, this dream reminded-me of those old twentieth century cartoons - where characters placed old-junk into these contraptions, and instantly out came shiny new items.

What might this 3-D TECH dream symbolize?

If you're trying to find symbolism and meaning in dreams you're going to end up confused and disappointed.

When you're asleep your brain gets bored and starts playing "what if" scenarios to amuse itself. Those dreams will be affected by current circumstances in your real life but other than that there's no hidden meaning behind them.

I had a short period where I was having dreams in BASIC. The basic design of racing engines with two overhead cams came to Harry Miller in a dream.
The inventor of the sewing machine was stuck for months, thinking about conventional needles. Then he awoke from a vivid dream where he was being menaced by many spears with holes through their big spear heads.
I have a friend who really believes his dreams, even if they violate the laws of physics. It is sad.

Learning dreams! I have in the past actually made things based on something I saw done or was taught in a dream.

I tend to agree from the standpoint that for many people, the "veil" between their conscious and sub-conscious can be quite thin at times, especially if they are experiencing some kind of stress.

When I go through a bad bout of depression, beforehand I dream of being chased by tornadoes. Then I know it's coming in the next week or two.

Does the dream cause the depression, or does the dream warn me of impending downward spirals? Now that's a question.

To the OP.
@MROSS I used to deep dive into certain video games and dream I was in the game.

The dreams will be symptoms of what some part of your mind already knows. If you have any very close friends that have known you for many years they're also probably aware that you're headed towards another cycle.

We're not real good a seeing ourselves, other people see things about us that are invisible to us.

I worked for USAF for four years in NM working with rocket sleds and I got criticized by everyone because I couldn't hold a conversation and my last supervisor treated me lousy because my projects were failing.
Last few months I have this dream that I go back to work at this place and don't run into any of these people. And I live an hr from NM and drive there and end up on the ocean.
