So what bad experiences did you have with these censored forums? There are rules in place here on AC that everyone is expected to follow for a reason...
That's not people trying to control you, that's about mutual respect. They will respect you, if you respect their rights to a family friendly environment. If on the other hand, you are singing offensive songs where people can hear them, you are imposing your tastes on them - that's not fair for their rights, either. It is a two-way street. And telling that person you hope their children kill them is very hurtful - you are seeking to control their feelings by hurting them. And killing your mother, that would be the ultimate in seeking to control another person. So I think the sooner you learn to respect other people, they will respect you.when people try to control me i get defensive and angry thats just who i am i do the same **** irl i almost got on the tsa ban list cuz some person with family values did not like what i was singing i told him i hope ur kids kill u that my frvte thing to say cuz i fantcyise abought killing my monther if there was a total break down of government
verble yes and actual fight only in self defenseWell we all hate it when other people try to control us. Our response to the situation though is always in our control though, even if it's just a little bit. Do you feel comfortable with the idea of being the the person who has outbursts?
if thay mided there own bizness ie me my self and i then it would be respect the second u care abought some or want them to be some one there not ur actttck themThat's not people trying to control you, that's about mutual respect. i have come to trums with my self i just like to sing it helps my stress and anxietyWell I get why you feel like that. I'm assuming you've been up against a whole host of people throughout your life taken offence at things you say. It's only natural for you to have a guard up constantly when you can't determine what might make an individual feel at home or upset them. It's either hate yourself because of what you can 'see' or come to terms with a bad situation and make it a part of yourself, right?
i was born an edge lord i will die an edge lordI think that learning to walk the line between our own tastes, thoughts, desires, vs. respecting other people's in a shared space is really difficult. Especially when we are more tuned inwardly than outwardly than others, and on top of that, if we need to ramp up that sense by stimming in some way to make ourselves more comfortable in public (e.g. maybe why you wanted to sing that song?). But I think it is very beneficial to learn to find some other way to cope and just behave in public in a way that doesn't offend other people. But maybe this video will help explain how/why it's beneficial to start working on that:
i was born an edge lord i will die an edge lord
i was born an edge lord i will die an edge lord
When you say you're an edge lord, what do you define that as? Because I've always thought that that wasn't a good thing. I double checked with Urban Dictionary that how I thought 'edge lord' was defined was correct..and yeah, it was.
"Edgelord
A poster on an Internet forum, (particularly 4chan) who expresses opinions which are either strongly nihilistic, ("life has no meaning," or Tyler Durden's special snowflake speech from the film Fight Club being probably the two main examples) or contain references to Hitler, Nazism, fascism, or other taboo topics which are deliberately intended to shock or offend readers.
The term "edgelord," is a noun, which came from the previous adjective, "edgy," which described the above behaviour.
Nietzsche was an edgelord before it was cool."
There are also hedgelords on here. People who enjoy keeping their gardens look nice.
