hello, I'm a writer and about five years ago I was desperately looking for an aspie for research. A few days ago one thing lead to another to an online-test that had me inside Asperger territory. Then another with the same result. Then a third. I've an appointment for an official diagnostic in november.

There is a ton of stuff in my life that would get explained by a "yup, you're Aspie" diagnostic that I have little doubt on the outcome. I will still consider myself as a maybe-Aspie until then.

Any question ?

I went through a similar situation 6 years ago when I was 26. I stumbled upon a blog and was like "wow, I could have written this!" I did a lot of research as well as online tests, and discovered I was on the borderline of being an Aspie. I finally got an assessment last March and sure enough, I was right! It was so validating to have my suspicions confirmed! I knew I HAD to be an Aspie as so many things I read rang true to me. Good luck on your upcoming appointment! :)

Hi, somebaudy!
I hope you find some relief with the diagnosis (whether you have it or not). One of the advantages in finding out later in life (as people from this forum have already said) is that the possitive diagnosis offers tranquility, for you finally understand yourself.

In any case, welcome to the forum!

Welcome aboard :)
