I definitely have trouble with the “select all the squares with a motorcycle” type captchas, wondering if that bit of dark is part of a tire or just a shadow or artifact.CAPTCHA IMO fails miserably in terms of usability. When a single or few pixels may determine whether a user has perceived the right answer, only to fail repeatedly over what appeared to be the correct response.
Living many users in a less-than-happy mood when they finally reach the URL they intended.
I don't care what technology is employed to restrict access to sentient users, but they have to get it right once and for all.
You're right OFC, but IMO it's a case of "be careful what you wish for".CAPTCHA IMO fails miserably in terms of usability. When a single or few pixels may determine whether a user has perceived the right answer, only to fail repeatedly over what appeared to be the correct response.
