This might not work for everybody, but have you tried replacing them with exercise or eating healthy? One of the things that pulled me out of my alcoholism was being able to work out and not feel sick and shaky afterward, it kind of turned off the desire to ever touch it again.I am finding that I have a real talent for replacing one addiction with another one.
