Yer, that's what I was taught in school.
I like the idea of 'and sometimes y', although it may take a little getting used to.

I did enjoy playing with the audio chart.
It made me laugh :D
Or at least, imagining what action would cause a person make each of the sounds did.

So far, there's
-sitting down in a comfy chair after a long days work
-hitting a tennis ball
-being given a back massage
-taking a sip of Tea
-dipping a toe in a bath that's too hot.
