A short fantasy story with a ND main character

Thank you for that. I really liked the part about the cats. I really relate to that. It reminds me of me. I actually relate to animals better than humans. I have a really hard time reading human people by their faces and actions (and even words), but I'm much better at it with non-human animals. Throughout my life, non-human animals; cows, horses, goats, sheep, chickens, birds, raccoons, possums, cats, dogs, etc., have been my best friends. We understand each other, much like The Code for Everything story.
