Idk if I can post this. i clicked the link of the policy thread. i dont consider this explicit but that term is subjective.if not then i imagine a moderator will take it down. I drew this during a peak time during my depression. I use markers. I feel that the bareness of the legs represent vulnerability or exposure, the shape represents confusion (question mark in the woman) and also the cycle of depression (the entire image is infinity shaped). I wanted to make it look like she was watering herself with her own tears. I wanted her to represent beauty and pain and disgust and confusion.

It’s a very powerful image with great contrast and Shading with interesting detail. Well done. Was the question mark shape an intentional representation for something like introspective questioning, or just a natural design feature? I like it either way; great job and nice work.

i was intentional in terms of form but not necessarily a question mark. there was a lot of deliberateness behind the shapes but they just happened to be recognizable in that form. i feel like maybe it was something subconcious because it fits with the theme still

oh yeh nice comparison. i like her work and how she juxtaposes the darkenss of pain with the brightness of paint

You are very talented. I love your use of colour and symbolism in this. I like the twisting and writhing nature of it all. You have a very bold and graphic style, it's a very interesting contrast to the vulnerable message in the drawing itself.
