Wow. Just happened to notice that with only 10 members online, we are being "watched" by 210 non-members. Maybe some of the 210 are actually some of us just not signed in, but wow.

Are we that popular/funny/pathetic/educational, or what?

I've noticed up to near 500 "guests" here sometimes. I think a lot of them are search bots.

From my understanding, a decent portion are probably bots (not the bad kind, but search crawlers), but some are likely obvious lurkers / readers as well.

I'm sure there are countless autistic people and their families who have not joined the forums. Maybe they're not into social media. Maybe they are embarrassed or wanting to keep their business private. But they surely come here for answers.

We used to have a function that allowed me to tell who was online.

It sorted out the guests from what are called web crawler bots.

At any given time we could have as many as six or more crawlers mixed in with the guests.

Crawler bots record pages that update the search engines, part of how the internet works for those who don't fully understand that aspect of it.

This forum has a lot going for it. It seems to be more of US forum at times and some from the UK may prefer the NAS which seems more UK based.
Also, I would say unfortunetly I have done a bit of sign posting at times especially for the religion forum which some autistic forums do not have so it a plus for some who for religion is a strong interest of their's. I have been told too many ads on this forum. That is an unsaid one. May be though it needs to be said. They are a lot for me with my severe sensory they can weird me out. You have no control over them. I have seen some that are not nice to my eye and if I do didn't do something my nerves would be affected. Pigs are cute and in the farms yes and more but on the forum several not in the best taste. I even seen blessed ones well it wasn't real within the womb I gasped. I saw seen several what was claimed as guardian angel's in the religion forum. Again I was fearfully made and not to be hyptonised by it. I even seen children running this is not the Lord. Like for real. It we could get more autitisc targetting it would be pretty. Using the software breaks other forum use sometime. This is a neurodiverse so I am commenting on it. We have free reign pretty much but it needs to be kept clean and within moral lines surely? I am not saying don't be humerous if that is your thing.

I think some people may be going their own strife and you have to wish them well. I think have had things pointed out and not wanted it or felt it was right so taking some quiet time. Don't keep it too long..good posters. Health and getting upset and sometimes I have seen things and didn't agree but not wanting to be take sides.You can be lazy too and not want to tempt yourself to take a pause and try and not signing in as a preventative to post.

For I have one last thought as well and my answer I do not know but wonder about the silent and who stay as well after some posting contributions were sizable.

The religion forum is multi fathed. For there was something going around for a while that it was a Christian supported forum but is not the case. I have heard it both sides as well. For I sent NAS members some looked and said the religion forum is too many Christian posts and they a are not Christian. It can go in waves and sometimes when do wonder it goes like that sometimes and especially with autism with proessing. I said once when it happened to catch me in it is me that time to make you feel safe and encourage to post..and yes still the same Rachel what do you reckon as well lol..what do you think and I am safe and come on over if you want and post what you like that is what it is for....start your own threads please. Tried to be a bit friendly like waving saying who I am. Generally we should try to sit on things for that to be avoided if possible.
When you see it too much one person you wonder about them and it can look odd and especially just one faith. In some other forums I did wonder as it not meant to be like that some are new not religion forum and just have a lot of questions. One poor soul like ten testomonies on one page..They are only meant to come like two in a lifetime and my lifetime I have done two thank goodness and one i linked to in here.. but ten you wonder under the spell not lol.

This is another point Satanism yes this a multi fath forum Buddism the whole gamut but Staniism and why would you put autistics who are vulnerable many with them who can see their private info and you may wonder if they is a den for calling a name ekk break it, For multi faith forums I have been none have gave a home to Satansm. I would expect them to have their own fiorum. Like city data I don't realy post but the sectios for religion go like this religion and spirituality mixed.

There is no satan forum. I do wonder if some Chrstians would stay away from this forum religion section potentially. For I saw it in an overwhelming numbers thread disrepectful posts I may avoid the forum as well for what do you think,. This is the city data and for me pretty much a no goer because the titles too many I found disrespectful without even opening a thread and its a shame as I tried to help someone else and we are all the same and I don't like to say that were other human beings visit of the same stripes.
I don't tell anyone how to handle the Satanism just now some I do wonder may avoid it as it is against their religion and some would say this is a vulnerable group and how others are doing it. We also do have free speech to some extent. I would like more people to come on and especially those who have posted a lot whilst I have been a member.
