    To physically distance yourself from them. As I finally did in the case of my own brother. Blacklisted him from email and phone service. Unfortunate, but also inevitable.

    I am looking forward to my 3 day weekend. Movies, games, a trip to the farmer's market, a planned order of wings and veggie sticks, self care for three days.

    Ironic how I have more energy after I limit my caffeine consumption to two cups of coffee in the morning every day. This experiment means no more crash in the mid day.

    Well done. Same thing happens to me if I overdo it on caffeine. That point late in the afternoon when I crash hard. No thanks. But hot damn, I sure enjoyed my coffee this morning!

    After a talk with my therapist and a couple of meetings with good friends, I am feeling better now. I should keep turning to my chosen family instead of trying to win over the blood family.
