    I’m probably gonna sleep for the next two days, and then I am taking the long weekend off from work, and having a cookout on Tuesday (I don’t personally celebrate July 4th, but it’s a day that all of my friends have off from work so it’s an excuse to have a cookout.) This is why I’m always so burned out in the summer, it’s just like nonstop stimulation. Can’t complain though. It certainly beats being bored.

    That sounds fun I hope you have a great time. My dad’s birthday is on July 4. We always have a fun cookout too. I like to have hotdogs and hamburgers.

    Against my better judgement, I let my friends drag me onto a roller coaster. I was even more terrified than I look in this picture lol

    I'd say you look more on the cautiously optimistic side here! :-) You know, I've never been on a rollercoaster ride! I must make an effort to try it out! I hope I am at least cautiously optimistic about it too! :smilecat:

    I was out all night like I previously mentioned, and I have to be awake in 7 hours to drive to another state for a birthday party at a water park. My life is pure insanity. I’ll sleep when I’m dead lol

    On top of all that, my ears are still ringing from the music in the club

    I went out tonight, and I got my hair, lashes, and teeth done beforehand.
    I have no one to impress other than myself and my girlfriend, I just like dressing up because I am a child cosplaying as an adult lol (at least it feels that way most of the time.) Life is too short, might as well enjoy it!

    People around me keep expecting me to grow up and have typical adult values and interests, as if they think I don't enjoy being an almost 30 year old teenager lol

    Agree. Im a bit younger but i still dont know how to adult and a lot of my interests would probably be seen as childish.

    Once again, I'm going to apologize for not being too quick with private messages right now. I have not been feeling too well the past couple of days and have been falling asleep in the afternoon. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon.

    An NT friend said to me “Getting along with other girls isn’t easy, especially if they’re on the spectrum.” Ouch…
    This friend has become increasingly ableist and anti-autism and it’s really bothering me.

    To be fully honest this friend definitely has a very harmful and ignorant view of autistic people by the sounds of it. Your very close friend who is a Kindergarten teacher has things right though!

    How close of a friend is this? If it were me, they wouldn't be as close for very long. Rudeness in friendships is untenable for me.

    I am musically talented in other ways, but I have always wanted to be a singer, and I was never good at teaching myself to sing and was too self-conscious. So I'm going to take voice lessons because I was singing in the car with a friend the other day, who said I have a very rich, powerful alto voice, I just need to learn how to use it. I'm self-conscious partly because my singing voice is loud like my speaking voice

    Someone told me something interesting a while ago, that there are studies that show that a lot of men say they don't like makeup on women, but what they actually think is "no makeup" is light makeup, and they don't actually like us "without makeup" at all. That doesn't matter to me, I'm only attracted to women and in a serious relationship, but I found it very interesting.

    The lipstick gives you a cool 1950s look I think :-) I think if you paired it with a 50s hairstyle you could have lots of fun combining that retro look with a modern twist :)
