Sounds mean. Maybe they are the one who is difficult for people to get along with.

Unfortunately this has been happening a lot since she took a job as an ABA therapist. Not necessarily surprising, though, considering the experiences a lot of us on here (myself included) have had with ABA therapists.
She has also been attributing basically everything I do to the fact that I have autism. There are other reasons for stuff I do, like maybe having a personality?

On the other hand, I have a very close friend who is a kindergarten teacher who works with special needs children, and she has about the opposite approach to this, and the kids adore her.

That goes both ways, getting along with people is hard for autistic people too
