I had a few posts which triggered me reading other people's reactions. But avoidance isn't viewed as a healthy coping mechanism. Perhaps you're being too hard on yourself with your opinion, plus your assumption on how others view you. Difference of opinions are usually civil and acceptable. This forum is a pleasant place to be.

Dog V4 sends hugs. Sometimes people get out of bed on the wrong side or are having a bad day. Most interactions I encounter are friendly but there is the odd one that isn't. Dwelling on the unpleasant posts is a recipe for anxiety. Dog V4 is whining right now. I think he want's another treat.

But you didn't do anything, if you make a thread and other people disagree and discuss something in that thread, that's not your fault or problem. It's not like you are trying to get people to fight each other. 
And I don't see why anyone wouldn't like you. If someone is upset at you over a thread you made, that's just silly. People get upset sometimes, that's normal life.

Luca, you are one of my favorite posters because you are well rounded, have many interests and abilities, seem friendly and caring, and can bring up topics that cause me to think & learn. Also, you can express yourself in ways I wish I could do better at. Take a break if need be, but just know many here enjoy your posts. I know I do.
