Whoever it was, I think they know I’m in here because my lights are on and my dogs freaked out when they knocked on the door.

Do you have a door camera? Glad you are okay. Sometimes teenagers do ding door ditch or knock on doors and run away. We have a lot of kids checking for unlocked doors here. I am happy to be in this park because the country club areas have a lot of people hitting them.

So scary. How are you doing? I’m glad you’re surrounded by your wolf pack.

I’m okay. Just anxious. I know I’m probably overreacting but I just hope there aren’t any more psychopaths on the loose around here.

Hey Luca, for safety's sake don't go outside when there's something like that! You want to stay inside. And a pocketknife is not as useful as something like a golf club or baseball bat. Keep the dogs near you & stay indoors when there's knocking.

Can you play loud music in your home? That might help deter a potential intruder?

Probably a group of 12 year old boys on a sleepover and bored. They are probalby behind bushes snickering. Don't give them the satisfaction of a response. Next time, call the cops and let them get dragged home to mom and dad, to learn a lesson.

That's terrible, I think it's important that you don't go outside if it happens again. Opening the door isn't good. You're safer indoors surrounded by 7 dogs. Instead maybe you could shout "I'm armed and I have called the police!".

Hey Luca, how are you doing? Did you get to sleep after all that?

Yeah, I’m okay! I was able to sleep. I do have pepper spray and a baseball bat btw. I reported it to community management.

Always be prepared with pepper spray and a bat just in case, Luca  Once I was on the last hour of my shift at work (I work at a supermarket) and a customer had said she had called 911 because there was a guy out in the parking lot with a knife. I had asked one of my coworkers

(a year older than me) to escort me to my dad’s car as I didn’t feel safe walking to my dad’s car alone as I was scared I could’ve gotten hurt.

That was smart to ask your coworker for help! I’m so glad you were safe!

Once at university, I lived in a house and I woke to a very loud repeated knocking. It scared me completely because it was so Loud and aggressive and it was in the very Early hours of the morning. I knew that the people above me had a party and I guess I had slept through most of the noise initially
