Many years ago, I found this video demonstrating VHS generation loss. Looking at it now, it's like "Everywhere at the End of Time", but much more condensed and less pretentious.

Which version? I'm no D&D expert, but I know each version has a different set of rules.

Do you listen to music in a different language?

Yes. A band that I really like is Héroes del Silencio, whose entire output is in Spanish.

    So bad it’s amazing!

Casino is a great movie, but the TV edit version is so bad it's amazing.

Now I am discovering the joys of jazz music.

Jaco Pastorious and Weather Report if you're interested in the fusion end. John Zorn is also an interesting artist to dive into, since he's done almost everything (just look into his Naked City project alone, what with it incorporating jazz, country, grindcore, and other disparate styles).

    Jump Jump Slide Slide

Mega Man 8 has some of the worst English localization, even for the time. Bass is pronounced like the fish, and Dr. Light sounds like Elmer Fudd, for starters.

I could care less about the graphics: can the gameplay not suck?

Any fellow Linux users on here?

It's Ubuntu Studio 24.04, which is based on Kubuntu. I'm thinking of ditching this version of Firefox and see if another version would work (flatpak, apt, anything else). I really don't like snaps.

Any fellow Linux users on here?

I'm really starting to hate snaps, if I didn't before. I've been getting this message a lot when I try to refresh Firefox: error: cannot perform the following tasks: - Run post-refresh hook of "firefox" snap if present (run hook "post-refresh": ----- rm: missing operand Try 'rm --help' for more...

Recommended PC specification for running different Linux distros

I knew a guy who was able to get a lightweight Ubuntu flavor to boot on a Chromebook, but the process is so intensive that I don't recommend a beginner to try doing so.

Recommended PC specification for running different Linux distros

Honestly, almost any computer can run Linux. I've known a couple people who have loaded Linux on a computer that's over five years old, and it usually runs just as well if not better than a new computer with Windows or MacOS. That said, I'd recommend testing out different distros in a virtual...
