    It's preposterous and infuriating that lives were lost after the LGTBQ+ parade in Mexico, it shows that our voices need to be louder, our actions stronger and our determination unwavering.

    I have never understood how your preferences are supposed to have an adverse effect on other people's lives. Are their egos so fragile that they're worried you might convert them? How "manly" are they? :)

    Iced Coffee is a very popular drink in Australia but it's also very different to what other people around the world call iced coffee. We don't use any water, it's all milk with coffee and sugar added.

    Hey! That's very similar to the Mexican iced coffee from the stores!

    Even the one I make says you can use milk and I have been pondering if I should, after this I probably will!

    I ended up with the opposite issue frequently when I would be at home by myself during meal time in the past. If I lived alone, I would likely go hungry a lot because I forget to eat.

    People where I worked thought it was cute that I was thin
    at the time and always hungry. Turned out I was hypoglycemic
    and eating in a way that wasn't helpful to me.

    I try to control myself but, by golly, sometimes I lose control 🤭🤭🤭

    @FayetheAspie you could try small snacks through the day which is what I usually do but, like I said, sometimes I lose control an end up snacking quite too much


    I hope you have all of that under control @tree I have been tempted to check my sugar levels because I'm just like that

    Nothing, but nothing, beats a Chicago Dog, a Vienna Beef Hot Dog dragged through the garden. Never, ever, put ketchup on a hot dog.

    Here in Mexico we put mayo, ketchup, mustard in some of ours

    There's a place where I live that wraps the wiener in bacon, then they put melted cheese and other goodies on it and they're GOOD

    Other parts they will even put crushed chips (crisps) on them, but I've never tried them like that

    All except the ketchup. In Chicago you never ask for ketchup on a hot dog. The bacon cheese dog sounds like a party for your taste buds.

    I know, right? Here’s a tip. Watch Fire Walk With Me only after you have finished season 2. Then go on to season 3 which surprisingly is as good as the first two seasons were.

    Why did you stop using the old one? I paid for membership on that for you. Membership was cheap back then. Don't take that personally, I sponsored about a dozen memberships because I thought the forum was worth what I was paying.

    Like everything, it depends on how easily you can get dependent on anything, I personally don't have an addictive personality (for the most part) so, I can quit coffee and be fine @maleonolo

    Loudness is a cultural norm and it can be a drug. The more you're exposed to it the more you acclimatise. Ie: the 'loudness war' in media, loud concerts, nightclubs, fireworks, sporting events, industrial noise, busy cities etc. loudness is everywhere.

    Men like noisy things that go bang, it makes them happy and lowers cortisol levels. Men enjoy the thrill of spectating an F1 race, or attending an airshow, it doesnt have to be pathological

    Interestingly, heavy metal guitar mimics the violent death throes of a wounded prey animal, arousing the kill instinct of the hunter.

    A lot of this is hardwired, with some cultural conditioning.

    I know AI has its dangers but I also cannot deny that the song I heard was pretty good, as music lover I prefer being biased and give everything a fair judgement

    I actually doubt it's music made by AI it's kinda too good

    I find AI interesting from a purely technical point of view, but I don't like what it's being used for. AI music is just atomizing human beings creations and gluing them together without proper attribution. Its like "wow that's cool" but I kinda want to vomit when I understand how "the sausage is made". On the other hand "Riding With the King" is a real hidden gem!
