    My uncle smoked one of my circuit breakers by overloading it with his power tools. No lights for me until an electrician fixes it.

    That's terrible. Guess he didn't expect that to happen. Hope you find an electrician soon! I've recently lacked a proper bulb myself to go with a light switch which has a led, so i know it's bad even with one light down. Apparently economical ones aren't compatible with those so it just kept staying half on all night long when it was switched off.

    Late yesterday he brought over a friend who is not legally an electrician but who knows about it and he fixed the breaker for the price of the breaker and a Carl's Jr. (fast food joint) "thickburger".

    Every year the Siskiyou Cattlewomen hold a contest for two teenage "Beef Ambassadors" to travel around promoting steaks. Hereford cows graze on my land in spring. Shasta Valley is more Angus.

    I was laying plans to survive just such a scenario, but wasn't ready in time. People in the cities are trapped under cordons. Rural areas like Siskiyou County have cordoned themselves off and forbade outsiders from entering.
