Make sure you put brass spacers between the motherboard and the box frame. When I built my first computer, I neglected to do so and the board instantly fried when I applied power. Blew a lot of the traces clear off.

You won't have any legal representation except for an overworked law student who simply tells you what you're charged with and how to plead guilty to everything in the correct manner. Then you get sent to New York State's notorious prison system. Guys like you get killed in a few weeks time. New...

New York City law enforcement is the toughest, most sociopathic cops in the country. They'll pound your head into the concrete until it cracks open and your brain falls out. And then there's Rikers Island, easily the worst municipal jail in the US.

Politicians seem to think that having the cops chase homeless people around the cities accomplishes something. It just makes it that much harder for the homeless to get jobs and stability.

I do errands early to avoid people. I'm not really homeless but I don't like people, and I get to live where there are few people and no cops. Around here if you own your land and aren't growing weed and you keep your nose to yourself you are left alone.

    My genetics have betrayed me.

I started to go bald at age 45 or so. Early male baldness isn't evident on either my mom's or dad's side. My dad died at 69 with a full head of white hair. My mom has no hair loss. Her father is the only one who went bald but he was very old and sick by then. I'm at the age where the internet...

    Problems with hoarding

Ultimately, I found that the med I take for my OCD also stopped the hoarding. Compulsive hoarding is a really odd syndrome, with some people it's related to a larger diagnosis of OCD and sometimes ADHD, and meds help. As noted, some people have trouble moving on from a traumatic event or the...

In Nazi Germany the disabled were considered "work averse" and at Dachau the developmentally disabled wore a black triangle labeled "blod" ("stupid"). In the camps the Aryan developmentally disabled were treated a little better than some other inmates, and were kept away from the bottom barrel...
