    Do you use tobacco products?

I was only 8 when I made 3 vows: Never Smoke Never drink alcohol Never do drugs I have narrowed that down to 1 vow: I will only ever do prescription drugs (as tobacco, illegal drugs, and alcohol are ALL drugs). I was addicted to many things over the last 14 years. I have been able to wean...

Autistics Die 18-30 years Earlier? True?

I don't think by that much, however, as people have said stress is greater in our lives and therefore that could reduce our life expectancy. But not by 18+ years. Maybe suicide could lower our live spans, but that is the exception rather than the norm.

Do you guys get addicted to buying new tech?

Thanks everyone. I understand about samsung being better (I actually wanted to stay with Samsung, I defo prefer the customizability), however my friend just offered me a new phone and I jumped at the chance. But if offered a choice I would choose samsung over apple

    So, I finally got tested...

I never asked to be tested either, however my mum did withhold the truth from me for months. I didn't even know why I was seeing so many doctors (yes, soooooo many doctors :P). Maybe she's just waiting so it isn't too much of a shock or until she thinks you are ready. This is wrong. Good luck...

Do you guys get addicted to buying new tech?

Okay, let me just say that I have an excuse to want a new smartwatch. I bought a samsung smart watch (gear fit 2) with my grandmother in Melbourne, when I thought I was gonna get a new samsung phone. However, i got an iPhone instead, and I found that a better watch (plus it has games and apps)...

    Clumsiness

Definitely. I am clumsy a lot of the time. I drop things and knock things over all the time. Yes, I think it is something to do with my autism/aspergers.

    Weighted blankets, do they work?

My mum made me one a few years ago. I love it! It defo helps with stress, anxiety and sleep problems. Ever since I got off melatonin I have been clinging to my blankey! My one is square and has tons of pellets inside it. It has a space background that we got from Spotlight. Spotlight is a...

Have you been involved with Autism Research?

Hey everyone. Just quick post asking if you have been involved in Autism Spectrum Disorder research. I have been involved twice, both voluntarily. First time was when I was 11 to see if my parents had given me autism (Telethon Kids Institute), I had a blood test and a few other tests. Second...
