Yet another shooting, yet another "Aspergers Syndrome" diagnosis

I really do not see why people get so disgusted when someone wants to discuss or discover the mental process behind such inhumane acts. That is the whole practical use behind psychology and anything otherwise is just sympathy and pity. The thread title gives absolutely no indication of being...

Yet another shooting, yet another "Aspergers Syndrome" diagnosis

I wrote an article on this, and unlike many highly opinionated people on this matter, I actually read the manifesto and analyzed it. Since I do have Aspergers (and I had no problem admitting that shooter Adam Lanza was an Aspie, so I am not worried about bad PR in the least) I did search for any...

"Doctors are 'failing to spot Asperger's in girls'"

I would love to live somewhere that I could meet with a group of Aspies of either gender once a month. That sounds like a controlled timing and environment to make social connections.

"Doctors are 'failing to spot Asperger's in girls'"

One thing I am going to add to my book is why in the WORLD these people writing Aspie-female articles think that female peers "guide the Aspie female" and that's how we end up more socially adept than Aspie males. I have never experienced this bubbly, pink, caring nature in little girls that...

"Doctors are 'failing to spot Asperger's in girls'"

Doctors only look at the severe male marks for Asperger's and that makes it very difficult for us. That's why I am writing a book about us. I don't understand why people with doctorate have a hard time understanding that female Aspies, like regular females, are going to be better at adapting to...

    Do you Really Have Friends???

I am more socially isolated now than I have been in a very long time, possibly my whole life. I have online friends and live with my boyfriend; nothing outside of that.

    Your personal honesty.

ISTJ's tend to be brutally honest although an NT of this type may have a bit of a better grasp on "tact" than an Aspie with such. (I am an INTJ.) ISTJ's have a very strict code of conduct for themselves and do not see any logic in NOT performing their duties. So being an Aspie on top of being an...

What song are you listening to right now?

I listen to this song and think of my stalker-character in my book Euthanasia, Two Hearts, and Appleseeds. Her name is Miriam and she's a very predatory stalker and I know this is a spiritual song but just listen to it. Stalker music.

    Your relationship status?

Relationship status : confused and eyeballing.

    Do you Really Have Friends???

Most of my friends online are either Aspies or they are on the Schiz-Spectrum. Schizoids and Schizoaffectives. I love them. In person, my one friend outside of my boyfriend is a severe Narcissist. He's been diagnosed with onset Schizophrenia but as of now, just NPD.

    The opposite of obsession?

Acoustic music and music with no lyrics. Really bothers me.

    Any Bronies here?

Yep well she's not a Brony. I really like Queen Chrysalis. She's like a pony version of Scar and her song was one of the best in all of MLP.

    Meltdowns?

I have meltdowns. Mine are usually caused by trying to communicate and it being ignored or failing and I don't understand why. They can also be triggered by sound or by drinking. I have to be super careful with alcohol. I avoid the meltdowns by running away from what's over-stimulating me for a...

My obsessions and interests and my putting them out there just landed me a writing contract, so I suppose that is turning it into a business.
