    I went to the dentist last year in November, and he said that to me. It makes me feel like I should be ashamed for saying I'm autistic. I have no right to say that I am because "everyone" is somewhere on the spectrum.

    What do you think impacts you the most?

    I would say, definitely sensory. I have meltdown almost every single day because everything around me is chaotic. The basics of things becomes harder, or even impossible. There are workarounds, like wearing gloves while washing the dishes, wearing a mask when doing laundry, sunglasses, earplugs etc.

    I don't mind - unless someone labels me in a certain way that hurts my feelings and causes conflict between me and them.
