    Ds,14, refuses to accept Aspergers

A lot of this sounds like myself. I have only just been diagnosed so am still in the process of getting help for myself. But, I was severely bullied in my first couple of years at high school to the point where there was police involvement. I stayed at that school the following year with few...

How many jobs did you have so far?

Mum has always been a hard worker so I guess "pushed me" to get a job so that I could have a bit of responsibility. My first job was great as my boss was so caring towards me but after that it went downhill. I've had a couple of retail jobs and that's when I started having issues and with every...

Hi, I'm Dee. I'm 21 and from Australia. Just thought I'd introduce myself as everyone seems so friendly from what I've read :) I've only been diagnosed with Aspergers a week ago (but suspected it for quite a while) and am looking forward to talking to others and finding information that will be...

How Did You React To Being Diagnosed?

I was relieved to know why I was different, rather than to not get diagnosed with Aspergers and be left wondering why I face the struggles that I do.

    "You look lost!"

I can definitely relate. I mainly get "is everything ok?" or "you look lost", especially when I'm deep in thought or trying to decide what activity I want to do next.
