    Rants thread!

Where is my dream county? Was America EVER my dream America? I guess I'm not so good at thinking. Sometimes I want to cry for the America that could have been but never was. It came so close but then gradually... went up in flames.

Krisi: Sometimes it DOES come naturally but we either suppress it or it's just not one of some particular people's symptoms. I know this is awful, but I'm relieved you're angry like me; it could save our lives and our freedom.

    Rants thread!

I know someone very close to me who acts like a goody-two-shoes to the proper authority, all the while treating me like crap. He would kill me for his cause; I know that for a fact.

Sometimes I can't help but hate women, and be ashamed to be one.

    1. It's nearly always the mother that complains about the autistic child. 2. It's nearly always the mother that yells at and hits the kids, at least in public, then they say that's a form of taking care of the kids. Other times they "give themselves a treat when they're stressed"... i.e...

    Acceptance

I accepted it until I doubted it. Then I realized I had PDD-NOS instead. I had thpought the diagnosis was all about the shallow stuff, until I took offence as well as realizing how shallow it all was. It's the deep stuff that counts, and so I went back and got re-diagnosed as PDD-NOS.

    Self absorbed.

I'd be self absorbed whether I was an Aspie or not. But yeah, I think being on the spectrum is part of what makes me self-absorbed.

    Hyposensitivity

    The hyposensitivity depressed me.

Who here feels bad about what they said in the past?

I'm starting to get the hang of realizing that no bad comments are true. It helps me be nice to everyone no matter how mean they are. :)

When and how did you hear about Aspergers syndrome?

My mom was fed up with me being a failure at life in 8th grade. She looked up autism stuff on the internet. She never shut up about it. She was really miserable about it too. Worse attitude than many curebies.

    Hyposensitivity

I'm hyposensitive to stimulation. I got really depressed that way.

Things you like about Aspergic forums

I like the fact that even the staff here like me! Everyone is friendly, there is less censorship, we actually remember things about each other, have funny conversations about embarrassing or inappropriate moments, etc.
