blue lights in my sight,
full moon rose above tonight,
all around is expectations,
but are they good,
or do we need lessons?

a Bible near me,
unopened,
needs to be read,
if all of them were,
what would be in my head?

cats hiding in the night,
little black cats run from sight,
hiding, curious, but fearful too,
big 'ol humans,
some of them made us all blue.

hummm goes the fridge,
chirp goes the cricket,
unuhunuh goes the fan,
they are not tired,
I guess.
