My Thoughts on the words TOAD & HUNGRY

I will begin to think about some of the words I have used to make the generators that
I have so far reviewed. I want to see how these words relate to me. I will start
with the first one: 'Toad is HUNGRY.'

TOAD:
I used a toad as an image in the first generator I made because a toad is an
objective reality. I chose this topic pretty much the same way I picked Ants for the
first term paper I wrote. There didn't seem to be anything theoretical or mysterious
about Ants. There was a body of knowledge surrounding Ants that I could gather and
sift to fit the term paper format.

Toads are considered ugly, I think. Toads have dark sparkly eyes. They have bumpy
skin and the bumps look like jewels. Toads sing very well. Their bodies are thick.

None of those aspects describe me, except in the the most metaphorical way.
I can use words, but I don't have a voice for singing.
When I hear the toads singing, I don't see them usually.
More people have read my words than have seen me, lately, I think.

HUNGRY:
Hunger has been an issue in my life. I had to learn what to eat in order
to avoid being sick or crazy or stupid. People used to say it was cute that I was
hungry all the time, but they were wrong.

Being hungry isn't cute or fun. It isn't a "rather pleasant feeling of anticipation."
It's a miserable gnawing feeling; maybe your head feels like it will cave in or explode
or you could smash something. Or maybe puke. Or faint. Or your heart is pounding &
you're sweating and shaky. Nothing is any good when you are "hungry all the time."

If you are "hungry all the time" you get sleepy after you eat so then you think that in
order to be able to think, you must always be a little hungry.

I did learn what to eat, though, so I am not "hungry all the time" any more.
As important as knowing what to eat was finding out what not to eat.

In 'Toad is Hungry' I cast the Toad as a Pet and the owner feeds the toad.
The owner cares for the Toad. I am always impressed when any person makes the
attempt to provide food for me that I can actually, safely eat.
It doesn't happen often.

Once at work there was a party, for me. It was supposed to involve a luncheon.
I was surprised that day. There was no food at all. "Oh we didn't know what to bring."
They could have asked.

TOAD/HUNGRY

So does that mean I am a hungry toad?
Or am I the owner that feeds the pet?
Or have I been both?

LOL Am I my own pet?
I am no one else's pet. (Is that true?)
If I were really a toad, I wouldn't know that I was anybody's pet.
I don't think I'd be capable of knowing that.

I regret this last section because it could so easily lead to a
resolution I hadn't planned on. I could carry these thoughts out to the
point where I allude to myself as an unaware being who is cared for
by a mystical entity. This is not to say I don't believe in God.

I think people who call themselves atheists are in an awkward stage of
development. But all I wanted to do today, was consider the words
Toad and Hungry. And look where that has ended up.
